Drone Inspections
Where appropriate, we can use drone photography and video as an additional service to support Maintenance Inspections, RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Surveys, and Commercial Property Surveys. This can be particularly useful for inspecting roofs, chimneys, high-level elevations and other areas where access is restricted or would otherwise require specialist access equipment.
The use of a drone can provide our surveyors with additional visual information to help identify potential defects and areas requiring further investigation, whilst reducing the need for ladders, scaffolding or other access equipment.
Important Information
Drone inspections are subject to suitable weather and site conditions. Written permission from the property owner or occupier must be obtained before the inspection and, where necessary, the proposed flight will be assessed for safety and regulatory requirements.
Factors such as adverse weather, trees, overhead telephone wires and restricted or designated flight zones may prevent a flight from being undertaken.
